Closed: Congrats #186 Mari!
Thanks to Rufus our dog, Frenzy our cat, and living on a dirt road, my floors are impossible to keep clean with a broom and dustpan. And when I do get around to sweeping, I have a mobile 1 year old boy that zooms immediatly over to the pile, thinking it it a mound of new toys I created just for him.
Finally, I can have clean floors without the hassel of the broom. The Swiffer Sweeper Vac is so easy to use and works so well that I will use it multiple times throughout the day, keeping my floors cleaner than they ever were before.
Only one problem: it is so fun to use that I have to fight my 2 year old to let me use it. This isn’t really a problem, except for the fact that she is so young that the floors don’t get as clean with her vacuuming as they do if I just do it. But the Swiffer cloth catches things that the vac doesn’t – so even if Lizzie doesn’t vacuum well, the cloth will pick up the dog hair and I am happy!
Now, I will introduce you to the Swiffer Sweeper Vac. There are quite a few really great features that make this a no-brainer replacement for your broom and dustpan.
Before you use it, you will need to plug it in and let it charge for 12-18 hours. I think it took a little bit longer than that for us. But you will know it is charged when the On/Off switch is green. You will know it needs charged when it starts to blink red, plus you can hear the suction lose power.
The vacuum head lifts up for easy access to attach the swiffer cloth.
The vacuum compartment is small, so on dirty floors like mine you will want to empty it frequently. It has a filter that you take out in order to dump the dirt into the trash. The release lever is on the front above the compartment.
Pitch the dirty Swiffer cloth, plug your vac back in and you are done!
Tell me why you need a Swiffer Sweeper Vac!
