Other than my growing belly and frequent exhaustion I wouldn’t really know I was pregnant yet. Oh, my first trimester I had lots of nausea, exhaustion and moodiness but now that I have hit the second trimester I feel a lot better!
I am able to get so much more accomplished due to a higher energy level! I still really need my naps though or else by 5pm I am dead tired and super cranky.
Weight gain – I am so happy about this part! So far I have only gained about 12 pounds. I am currently 150 pounds, the exact same weight I was when I got pregnant with Lizzie. I am trying to eat healthier this time and get more exercise so that getting back down to my pre-pregnancy weight is easier.
Right now I am doing pregnancy pilates when I can and I am definitely not drinking enough water. This is the one thing I struggle with the most every single pregnancy, and I know it. It certainly does not help that my nose and tastebuds are so heightened that I cannot stand the taste of our well water. So I buy bottled water and when it runs out I just don’t drink enough.
My friend Tasha told me the other day that I don’t look pregnant. I guess that is a compliment. My belly really does just have a teeny bump and that is fine with me! I have never really started to “show” until after 25 weeks or so.
And the most frequently asked question: Yes I will be finding out the sex of the baby! In fact I am working on a small giveaway with you guessing what you think it is! I’ll be revealing the answer on August 1st!
Too cute. I was a “late show-er” too, at least 6 months before I was out of my jeans. But then I just looked fat for a while, LOL
I love the shirt – very very cute.
You look great! I didn’t show until around 6 months either.
Awww Mama you look wonderful! Congratulations I didn’t know
You look great! I swear my belly popped out as soon as I got a positive test. It was highly annoying to be in maternity clothes at 3 or 4 mos along because both my boys were so low none of my regular stuff fit.
Hey Annie,
We get our water from Wal Mart as well. We don’t buy the bottles though. We do the big ol’ water dispenser. It’s only $.33/gl that way. We spend roughly $3 for 9 gallons. Quite a deal. You should look into it!
I struggle with drinking enough water too! Today I am 17 wks 2 days and I have days that I look more pregnant than others. It depends on what I’m wearing.
We have 1 month to decide if we are going to find out the sex or not. We didn’t last time and it was a fun surprise. This time it would be nice to be a little more prepared, but so much of our newborn stuff is gender neutral it doesn’t make a huge difference.
i didn’t show with Brighton until about 25 weeks then it was like i had swallowed a watermelon. lol. there was a lady at work who didn’t believe i was pregnant. I wore my regualr clothes until then too. lol. you look great!
You look great Annie 🙂
Love the Tee…too funny.
Looking good, mama!
Congratulations, you look great!
16 weeks? I am officially jealous. I am almost 8 weeks and stuck in the nausea and extreme exhaustion stage.
Cute shirt though and congratulations!
You are super cute! What a nice idea to take all your belly pics in the same shirt. You’re 16 weeks in…and I have 16 weeks left to go. Hoping it goes by well for us both 🙂
