I have wanted a George Foreman Grill for years now! Everytime I read a delicious grilling recipe (like a Tilapia one I read in a Rachel Ray magazine) I either have to ask someone to fire up their grill outside or try and make it on the stove top. But I don’t have a griddle and stove top cooking is not the same as grilled cooking.
Thank goodness for the George Foreman. Through my experience it is every bit as wonderful as I expected it to be.
It is super easy to use! Normally when I cook chicken breasts I have to keep telling the kids, “Stay away from the stove! Hot!” Plus, it takes so long on the stove. With the George Foreman Evolve Grill, I just seasoned my chicken breasts, tilted the grill, turned it on to 350 degrees and set it for 14 minutes. I didn’t even have to think about the hot stove or turning the chicken, and when the time was up the alarm sounded.
It doesn’t take up very much room either, which makes it a wonderful gift for a college student. I asked for one every single year that I was in college but didn’t quite get it.
It comes with 2 grill plates, a slider for making cute little burgers, and a deep dish baking plate so you can actually make lasagna on your George Foreman!
I also love how all the parts are dishwasher safe. They were thinking of busy moms like me that want to stay healthy when they made this grill.
One thing I will say though: Their website is not clear about what comes in the box. It has great information about the grill but if you want to buy the grill go to Amazon.com where it has clear information and great pictures. It is currently in stock for only $150 to buy it today!
