For the Summer Survival Guide, Hayneedle sent Lizzie and David a Little Tikes Picnic on the Patio Playhouse to review!

Now that the weather is warmer, I want Lizzie and David to play outside more. And playing in their own play house means a lot longer play times. You can find a large selection of playhouses on the Hayneedle store Playhouses.com – from wood playhouses to indoor playhouses and even inflatables.

I love this playhouse and so does Lizzie and David! They are playing on it every single day! I love how on the outside there is a picnic table. On really nice days I will give them their lunch on this table and they have a fun time.

Little Tikes sure thought about the details when they were constructing this house. It has an indoor fireplace and rocks on the outside for a chimney. I also love the stove, phone and microwave.  Lizzie’s other favorite game to play with it is “restaurant,” where she cooks food and hands it to me through the window. This play house comes with plastic food too, adding to the imaginative fun!

One note about this playhouse: use a power tool when screwing in the screws and putting this together. This means the house will last forever – just like most Little Tikes products do. This also means that me, with my manual screwdriver, found it near impossible to put together.

    One thing I love to do with my son in our outside is yard work, my son loves to dig holes and find snails/insects/bugs! It is such a nice feeling to know something so simple makes him happy.

    I love this BBQ set. So cute! Little tikes is one of my favourite brands. They make great and durable products. We too had the playhouse up until last year when we gave it to a friend for her granddaughter to play in. It lasted eight years here and will serve the granddaughter another eight easily.

    We live in a very rural area with the newest town 20 min. away. So usually we go into town to the library. Right now is the summer program so the kids can see movies, watch puppet shows, have story time and more fun times there. This town is small so there is no public pool/
    We also go to the lake and camp. This is really fun.
    I guess anything we do together is all that matters 🙂

    we travel a lot for my husbands job and the kids and i always take any opportunity to go visit national parks or go to the beach we are really just outdoor people and just taking them on new outside adventures is fun!
