20 Second Fitness is a workout DVD program that builds on the philosophy that Intensity is Key. You do 20 second sets of intense workouts and gradually build a lean, mean body. The DVD program has one workout per day and lasts for 6 weeks.
Each day has different types of workouts. You never know what you are going to be doin that day, which is half the fun. Some days you will be doing strength training, others aerobics and a bit of strength. You do repetitions of exercises that last 20 seconds each rep. And these exercises are intense! When I was done, I felt like I ran a mile. No joke. Some days you work out for only 4 minutes, other days you will do up to 12 minutes of fitness.
Tomorrow, I start the first “non warm-up” week of workouts. I can’t wait to see how I feel next week. I’ll definitely tell you how the warm up weeks compare to the first real week.
I learned something: I need to drink more water! I am honestly frustrated because my muscles are very sore but my body shape isn’t changing much and the scale is not moving an inch. I heard that if you really stress your muscles, they retain water. And I have been working muscles I haven’t worked in years.
At the end of this 6 weeks I hope my arms are tighter and my stomach lots flatter. I am just annoyed with how my middle looks pregnant still! But I know if I drink my water and make fitness a priority my body will follow, specially since I started using the best testosterone boosters for men.
