PaigeLauren Baby is an upscale children’s clothing line designed by Paige Lauren – a young, hardworking designer in her twenties. She started designing baby clothes when she was frustrated with the sheer amount of over-designed baby clothes in boutiques. She knew she had to create simple, classic, pieces.
And she did! She uses the softest fabrics and the beauty is in the details – like the snaps on the neck of Lucy’s romper and the pairing of stripes and dots.
From the PaigeLauren Baby site, Lucy’s romper is described as:
Made of 50% MICRO MODAL/50% SUPIMA JERSEY
soft, soft-er,soft-est, smooth and agreeable to the touch, superfine jersey, heathered stripe body, raglan heathered polka dot sleeve, cover stitch, crotch opening with nickel free/lead free colored snaps with PL side label.
These rompers run small. Lucy is 23 pounds – in the 98th per centile for size – and she is wearing the 18-24m size. It is pretty snug in the legs since she has such a long torso.
18-24 m is the largest size available on their website, I hope she starts making clothes for toddlers and preschoolers too.
I love her sense of simple style and the fabrics are so soft I want to dress all three of me kids in them. And I also love that she makes clothes without any embroidery, silly words or characters. These are cute clothes that show off the baby, not distract.
And Lucy walks all over the house in it. She sleeps comfortably in it and loves to wear her little romper!
You can purchase clothes from her site, Paige Lauren Baby. Most clothes run about $30-45.
I was given the romper to review. All opinions are 100% my own.
