My mind is always distracted. I focus on my children’s safety, education and happiness while also accomplishing social media and blog assignments. You might say I have functioning ADD. Or that I am just another work at home mom.
Whatever I am, I depend on devices to make my life easier and accomplish more in less time.
I don’t have to depend on where the wi-fi is. I can tackle e-mail while waiting for Lizzie’s ballet class to complete. This convenience makes me really want a keyboard for my XYBoard. I struggle with typing on the tablet – it is just large enough to be too big for finger-tapping and yet too small for typing like a full sized keyboard. With that keyboard I will be unstoppable.
The biggest difference between my iPhone and Android tablet is the widgets. I have to open my app to see the latest tweets and email. But with my Motorola Tablet I only have to glace at the email widget and see the latest 5 emails, knowing whether to put it down or open them further. What a time saver widgets are!
My favorite app is Evernote – I can create lists, notes, and documents and access them on all my home computers, cell phones and my tablet. I don’t have to email things to myself anymore! My next app to learn is Google Drive. I have also heard that Microsoft One note is just as convenient- but I cannot use it since it is not available for Mac computers. It is just such a relief to save my information once and be able to access it everywhere.
Now you tell me!!
What apps do you love? In my next post I will be taking your favorite apps and sharing them with everyone too!
