We just pulled into the parking lot at the grocery store. David and Lucy were napping, so I unbuckled Lizzie and decided to snag a few quiet moments to check my email on my phone.
Then, right out my window, I saw it. An anomaly! I turned to Lizzie and asked if she saw what I saw!
“Is that….can it be….your music teacher?”
She jumped to the front seat, then covered her huge smile with her hands and giggled in a mix of delight and disbelief.
“It is! It is Mr. Music Teacher! Mommy -” more laughter – “He is here, not at school!”
Then I clicked the photo, not wanting to forget this precious, innocent memory.
“Mommy, are you going to Blogher about it? Please?! Blog it!” She pleaded.
I paused, surprised she knew me so well, and also stunned that I didn’t think of this first.
“What, blog that you saw a teacher, who was not at school but at the grocery store like other people?” I joked.
“Yes! Blog it, mommy!”
So I did. I am not one to disappoint my fans.

LOL that’s adorable. I love it when my kids are about to dig into their meal and they ask if I’m going to take a picture first, or can they eat? LOL!

Thank you! I was cracking up that she mispronounced “blog” as “Blogher.” I guess I really talked a LOT about that conference recently! LOL!!

Adorable! My daughter is more focused on FB, not quite getting the gist of blogging yet, but knows that pictures go there instead. 🙂

That is just so cute that she saw her Music Teacher as a REAL person.
I remember doing that when I was little… it was just so weird.
The look on Lizzie’s face is priceless, definitely something you want to keep as a memento and according to Lizzie, blog-worthy.
I just love kids of bloggers. =)
Thanks for sharing.

My kids love when they see their teachers outside of school. It always makes me wonder how the teachers feel about it. They must feel like they always have to be “the teacher.”
Annie @ Mama Dweeb says
I bet the teachers love it. Well, teachers that love their job do LOL 🙂
