You have seen the commercials – kids laughing and playing with blankets that are also puppets. But are CuddleUppets worth $20? Do CuddleUppets last? After thoroughly reviewing a blue elephant CuddleUppet I can say for sure that yes – CuddleUppets are high quality and worth it!
This picture? ADORABLE! I love my Lucy and she loves her CuddleUppet Elephant. It is super soft and the perfect size for her. Now my long-legged 5 year old? It is a bit short for. But I think CuddleUppets make better nap-time toys to snuggle with than actual blankets. Lucy snuggles with hers at nap time.
This photo made me laugh. Lizzie likes to play with Lucy and the elephant. Lucy doesn’t quite have the skills to make the mouth of the puppet work yet but Lizzie knows how and loves to do it. And the head and feet are lightweight. They have held up well after all this time, no rips or tears here!
These are perfect in the car! The head is like a pillow that is attached to a blanket! It is extremely comfy, especially when she falls asleep and needs something to help her neck not get all cricked funny.
Here are some close-up pictures. The only thing that I wasn’t totally thrilled with was the eyes. I am not sure if the designers were trying to encourage a feeling of sleepiness with the half-closed eyes or what. It is odd. But the kids don’t notice and they are a really fun blanket/toy to have around.
So yes – CuddleUppets are definitely worth $20 each. They make car rides comfy, nap time fun, and are super soft and made well. Blankets and pillows separately are pricy, this is a pillow and blanket in one!
Buy your own CuddleUppets!
You can purchase a CuddleUppet for $19.99 on their website. Then, each additional CuddleUppet is only $16.99 each.
I received the elephant CuddleUppet to review. All opinions are 100% my own.
You are right – the eyes are a little creepy. Almost like drunk or hung over animals. But, James LOVES ours. It’s a little too short to be used as a “real” blanket, but he curls up in a ball and covers up.
Hah, exactly what I was going to say – the animals look like they are drunk or even better – high! :)) But they do look really cosy and soft – even from the pics!
Gah, my kids keep asking. The car part sounds nice.
They really are fun and worth the $20. They are also available on Amazon.com for $16.71 and free shipping via Amazon prime 🙂
