I received samples and a Keurig from Honest Tea. All opinions remain mine.
Three p.m. is my wall. After working all morning, picking up one child, doing errands, housework, more blog and social media work, I am zapped by 3pm. While I consider coffee my morning addiction, tea is my afternoon energy boost. Especially iced tea. Sweet iced tea is the most amazing invention in the history of all drinks.
I am trying to cut back on sugar. Honest Tea’s black tea isn’t too bitter, I don’t even miss the sweet edge. I brew the Honest Tea in my Keurig, over ice in my tumbler. Then I sip it on the way to school pick up, in the pick up line, and on the way home. By the time I get home, I am ready for the entire afternoon routine: homework, snacks, games, dinner prep, bedtime prep, and finally bedtime.
I actually replaced a latte and my other terrible-for-me beverage (diet soda) with my sugar and calorie fee Just Black Iced Tea From Honest Tea. It feels good to drink something that isn’t bad for me. This is just black tea, nothing else. I can brew it hot or over ice. I prefer mine over ice, I find it tastes a lot more refreshing in my tumbler.
THE FEEL GOOD PART
Certified USDA Organic – I am very well known for not having a preference of organic vs. conventional. But I realize there are some of you that care deeply about organic, so this will be very important to you.
Fair Trade Certified – This is what matters to me. In order to meet this certification, Honest Tea pays a premium on top of the market price. This extra money goes into the local community and empowers these farmers and workers to build a better life for them and their families. I will actually buy something that is fair trade faster than I will buy something that is organic, it means more to me that people are treated well and not used.
WHERE TO BUY
