If you are camping in Ohio, pick one of these spots that are near coffee shops. You will thank us!
Ohio friends this is for you! Let’s say you want to go camping, but you also want to make sure you can have a really good cup of coffee too? My husband and I found coffee shops near campgrounds for you!
Cause camping is fun – but so the simple pleasure of a well-made latte.
In fact, few things can match the joy of camping out under the stars on a warm summer night. The beauty of nature, the crackle of a campfire, the sounds of nature, and the escape from the crazy cyclone called life all combine to create a relaxing and almost spiritual experience.
The only buzzkill in this utopia is waking up the next morning and realizing you don’t have coffee! So if you happen to find yourself desiring some chill camping time in Ohio but your blood is 25% coffee, here are the best places to camp and the local dealer, I mean shop, that will get you your fix.
After you read through this list, go see other fun things to do in Dayton, Ohio. You can see more about tents and stuff too – but definitely, let me know what you like to do for fun in Ohio.
Ohio Camping Near Coffee
Will & I split this post up by Ohio towns. No matter where you live, you’ll find camping and coffee near you.
Greenville Camping
For a fun camping experience in Greenville check out the Wildcat Woods Campground. This is a family owned campground that has been in the same family for over 30 years. A pond for fishing, swimming, and paddle boats is on the property. Make sure you visit the nearby Annie Oakley birthplace museum while you are here.
In the morning venture to The Coffee Pot. This shop is owed by lifelong Greenville residents who desired to provide a fun place to hang out and drink some delicious coffee to their hometown.
Ravenna Camping & Coffee
The best camping experience near Ravenna can be found at the West Branch State Park. A lake with a beach, hiking, horseback riding, swimming, and boating are just a few of the activities to enjoy here.
When you run out of energy and need some go-go juice check out Bean and the Baker. Located in the historic Phoenix Building, they feature a full lunch menu in addition to excellent organic locally grown coffee.
Lancaster Camping
If you are looking in the Lancaster area, a relaxing time can be found at the Lancaster Campground. This historic campground features a pool for swimming and various indoor and outdoor activities. It is best enjoyed with an RV or even a group.
When you need to get your caffeine buzz check out Square seven Coffee House. They feature a delicious deli food menu in addition to excellent coffee.
Waynesville Camping & Coffee
State parks are always a fantastic choice for camping. Caesar Creek State Park in Waynesville is no exception. Archery, boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, horse back riding, and various seasonal activities provide a long list of fun.
The best coffee in the area can found at the Stonetown Coffee. This shop features small batch brews from around the world and some wonderful food choices as well.
Loudonsville Camping
Mohican State Park is the place to go for a wonderful camping experience in the Loudonsville area. This place has everything you would expect at a state park.
Once your addiction kicks in and you need some coffee head over to Loko Bean. This place simply has great coffee as well as great chocolates. And even better? They are privately owned and just opened their doors this past August (2017)!

Camping is one of the most relaxing and satisfying activities when you need a break from the mundane and the same old same old. However, just because you are getting away, the need for coffee will still remain. Many campgrounds are located close to really good coffee. With this guide you will be able to satisfy both desires with ease in Ohio.

I don’t actually live in Ohio, but my family and I take an annual weekend summer trip to Cleveland to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Since this is located right by the water, we tend to stay and do various activities out on the lake. It is usually a really fun and exciting time! 🙂
