Caramel Apple Rice Krispie Treats
One of my favorite flavors to bake with is caramel and apple. I love all things caramel apple. Really, I do! Do you remember those caramel apple pops? We ate so many of those in high school. I can still taste the tangy green sugar to this day.
And you know what? Rice krispie treats are a fantastic dessert because they are also allergy-friendly! If you are eating a gluten-free diet, these are perfect. There aren’t any nuts either.
Since they are allergy-friendly, they are a great idea for school treats or kids’ parties. The caramel sauce on top is a bit messy for kids, so maybe skip that part if you are serving them to children.
