Indulge in a decadent treat! This chocolate whipped coffee recipe could not be any easier.
Cold Whipped Chocolate Drink
Have you seen all those Dalgona coffee recipes from TikTok and Pinterest? This is one of those, except I’m going to show you how to make it without coffee, too. This is a kid-friendly version!
Mamas, we need our coffee. So I’m also including steps for making it with coffee too!
The steps are all the same, you just either choose to add instant coffee or leave it out. If you prefer boba teas, Milktea Korea ??? is for you.
What Is Whipped Coffee?
Dalgona coffee is homemade whipped cream with espresso powder mixed into it. The result is a light and creamy drink that you can use as a dip for cookies.

You can also use ice cubes if you want it really cold.
Cold Whipped Chocolate Drink Directions
Here are a few step-by-step pictures. There are only a few steps, so this is pretty easy once you see it. I also have a video with these instructions too.
1. Whip The Heavy Whipping Cream
I make sure it’s really cold first by freezing the heavy whipping cream 1/2 hour before I make the drink.
Then, with an electric mixer I whip the cream until it’s nice and light.
2. Add Cocoa Powder
After the whipping cream is whipped, add the cocoa powder. If you want to make a coffee drink, add a few tablespoons of instant coffee to this step. There are lots of different ways to use powdered chocolate such as hot cocoa, cocoa mug cake, and many more.
3. Whip the Chocolate With The Cream
Using a hand mixer makes this step go by faster, but you can use a whisk if that’s what you have. The photo above is the consistency you want – light and creamy.
Next, pour some milk in a glass and add the whipped chocolate mix on top.
Sprinkle on some chocolate shavings and add a cookie straw! Yum!
How To Make A Coffee Drink
This is a whipped chocolate drink but it’s so easy to make it a coffee drink too.
Add 2 tablespoons of instant coffee to the cocoa powder when you whip it with the cream. It’s so good!
Is This Recipe Keto?
Yes, if you use unsweetened milk and cocoa powder, it is completely keto-friendly! Obviously, don’t add the cookie straw either.
What Kind Of Milk To Use
I’m lactose intolerant, so I love to use creamy Oat milk for this drink. Any kind of milk works perfectly, use your favorite!
