Best Air Fryer
If you want an air fryer that is easy to use right out of the box, then get a Ninja Air Fryer! The Ninja AF161 Max XL is big enough to feed an entire family. And the controls are easy to understand. I can’t recommend this enough, and neither can everyone else! It has 4.5/5 starts on Amazon with almost 18,000 ratings!
Why Use An Air Fryer
I love my air fryer! It cooks things really quickly, and clean-up is a breeze! Plus, you can fry things without any grease. This makes food – like Chicken Popcorn In An Air Fryer – really good for you.
Supplies
Here is what I used when I made this pizza!
Ingredients
Here is what you’ll need before you begin. All the exact amounts are in the printable recipe card at the bottom of this post.
- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- Egg
- Garlic
- Salt
- Pepper
- Keto-friendly Pizza Sauce
- Pepperoni
- Italian Seasoning
Substitutions
There are a lot of different ways to make this pizza. Keep in mind that if you change any ingredients, it might alter how many carbs are in the pizza.
Don’t try to change the crust. The combination of egg and cheese makes a crispy crust that has no carbs.
But change up the sauce and the toppings! Instead of pizza sauce, make some keto-friendly alfredo sauce or use sugar-free BBQ Sauce.
Instead of pepperoni, add crumbled sausage, onions, or peppers.
Storage
Make a bunch of pizza and save it to eat it throughout the week. It’s the perfect thing to add to your weekly meal prep! Store your cooked pizza in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator for up to three days.
Then, reheat the pizza in the air fryer for about 5 minutes at 350F. I don’t recommend using the microwave because that might soften the crust too much.
Process Photos
If you’re a visual learner, here are some pictures showing you how I made this pizza.
The firs step is to mix the ingredients for the pizza crust in a mixing bowl.
Then, place parchment paper in the air fryer basket. Shape out two small pizza crusts (or one large pizza crust).
Pre-cook the pizza. Then, add a little bit of pizza sauce on top.
Add more cheese and pepperoni (and whatever toppings you want!).
