There are a ton of DIY craft ideas with recycled toilet paper rolls out there. Have fun in the vortex of Pinterest, there is no end. 

Well, I have one more to add to the list!  Here is a DIY recycled toilet paper roll craft – make a compliment station!  It’s so easy, even I can do it! (seriously, I’m awful. Please do not look too closely at them, an art major I am not).

What is a compliment station?

It is a tiny version of mailboxes, and holds slips of paper with compliments and encouraging words written on them. Each family member has one roll. (This is a craft the entire family can do together, design your own roll!). Then, whenever someone does something admirable, whoever sees it writes it down and puts it in their roll. 

Another idea: 

You can write your own words of affirmation or your favorite encouraging Bible verses and draw one out whenever you need your spirits lifted. 

How to make a compliment station: 

Well, it’s pretty self-explanatory. Cut the toilet paper rolls in half. Decorate creatively. (Washi tape and stickers are my best craft friends) Then use your favorite craft paper and pens to write the compliments. 

I used a recycled plastic container that used to have trail mix in it to hold the rolls. You can also cut down a face tissue box or decorate a shoe box.
