This post is brought to you by the fantastic folks at Yoplait. I’ve always been a fan of their yogurt, so this post is a super fun one for me to share with you! All opinions (as always) remain 100% my own.
Now, who’s hungry?
I’m a snacker. Are you? I love my snacks. I get feeling lethargic or sluggish and a little snack is the perfect way to wake me up and zap me with energy.
The key is finding that perfect snack. Because if I shove a bunch of chocolate in my mouth, all that energy I just consumed will disappear in a huge crash very fast.
The key for me is protein. There is protein in yogurt, but I wanted to add more and make it super fun to eat, like a dessert without the huge calorie consumption.
Allow me to introduce you to Pecan Pie Yogurt! YEAH BABY!
Pecan Pie Yogurt Snack Idea
So, I went shopping at Walmart and found the yogurt aisle – right by the milk and baby clothes.
I picked up two different kinds of yogurt – the huge vanilla tub (because wow fantastic price and also I can use it for smoothies) and some low calorie cups.
Then, I also bought some chopped pecans and graham crackers.
That is it! Want to see how I made it? Here’s my handy little video for ya!
Isn’t it yummy? And it is crazy easy to mix and go! I snack on this for breakfast as I am driving to work – the graham crackers give it just a hint of sweetness and remind me of pie crust.
And I am just crazy about pecans.
-Side note: do you say them “Pee-Cans” or “Pee-Kahns”? I definitely say Pee-Kahn. Just curious.
What do you mix into your Yoplait yogurt for guilt free snacking? Anyone else put chai seeds? Cause I haven’t really jumped onto that bandwagon yet…I do have friends that love hemp seeds though.
I’d love to hear your ideas!
