During the summer I get pretty bored with my meal planning ideas. It’s way too hot to want to cook so sandwiches and salads and even wraps become the norm.
Until I was hired to do this blog post, I’ll be honest. I didn’t even know uncooked tortillas were a thing. Well turns out they are and they make amazing mini-taco cups! Uncooked TortillaLand® Flour Tortillas are so delicious and they bake perfectly in the oven in less than 10 minutes!
You will find them in the refrigerated section of Walmart, next to the string cheese. They are less than $4 for a pack of 18, pretty affordable family meal idea.
The 3 main ingredients for this meal are simple: Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Chicken, Wish-Bone® Italian Dressing, and TortillaLand® Flour Tortillas. I also added guacamole, tomato and chopped onions on my cup and that is it! Easiest dinner!
Honestly, the most time-consuming part of the entire meal was cutting the tortillas in half and putting them into the muffin tins. But that entire ordeal only took about 5-6 minutes. These little taco cups really are way simpler to make when you use uncooked tortillas, I had no idea!
Then, while those baked at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, I put the fully-cooked chicken in a skillet and sprinkled about a tablespoon of dressing on top. The dressing made the chicken even juicier than normal and they came out smelling amazing!
Once the cups were golden brown, I put the chicken in them with my favorite toppings – dinner was ready in 15 minutes flat!
