Week #2 on our weight loss journey together! How are we all doing? So far I have lost 2lbs! Thank you so much friends for encouraging me and giving me great ideas for healthy foods. I started out at 150 lbs last week and I am down to 148! My goal is still 130, so 18 more to go. Our target date is June 23rd and I know I can do this!

Each week I will post a new challenge. Last week’s challenge: Drink 64 oz of water each day. How did you do? I didn’t quite hit it every single day, but I am getting better. 64 oz equals 2 nalgene bottles and I usually get through 1 and 3/4 so I am getting there.
This week’s challenge: Get moving! Here are some ideas:
1. If you have stairs, run up and down them at least 3 times
2. Before doing a household chore, do 25 jumping jacks
3. Put on some fun music and dance with your kids
I found some really fun aerobic exercises to do with my kids. I want to share them with you – they really got my heart pumping and my kids giggling!

*The Grand Old Duke of York: If you do this fun song while holding your 19 lb baby, you have weight training and aerobics! Do this at least 5 times to burn some serious calories
*Hokie Pokie: To increase the calorie burning power of this fun song, do it while jumping up and down!
*Head & Shoulders Knees & Toes: Do it slow the first time and gradually increase the speed each time you sing it. Not only will you get your heart rate up, but your child will love trying to keep up!
*Dance to “Shout!”: You know that oldie is so much fun to dance to! And you really gotta do that part when they get quiet and louder each time. Your child will have so much fun and you will too. For upper body move your arms up and down, then switch to lower body with kicks!

i’m very proud of you annie. you do look good. its easier to loose when you are much heavier. and harder to loose when you are closer to your goal weight. you are doing great. you look tone. and healthy. 🙂 great job!!!!!
