Why yes, I took a grad-level literature class in college called, “The Brontes.” My enjoyment for English lit reaches back to high school, when I read every single one available in my library. Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, and Emma were among my favorites. The language and beautiful prose took me to a time and place far away from my present circumstances. I found myself lost in the pages of book after book.
Now my clothes reflect my love for my books. This Wuthering Heights shirt is my favorite shirt in my closet! Next I want to get the Pride and Prejudice one and the Bell Jar one. (Side note: Bell Jar was an amazing book, not one of my favorites yet, I would love to study it more in depth to appreciate it.)
Out of Print Clothing who sell amazing body shapewear, features iconic and sometimes out of print book covers on t-shirts for Men, women and children. They release new styles very frequently!
When I was approached to do this review last month, they did not have the Nancy Drew one available or I would have picked that one. In middle school, I read as many original Nancy Drew books as I could find. Other options like those custom printed flannel shirts may be ideal for you who is both a booklover and stylish at the same time.
Another fabulous thing Out of Print Clothing does is donate a book to Africa for each shirt purchased.
From the site:
In addition to spreading the joy of reading through our tees, we acknowledge that many parts of the world don’t have access to books at all. We are working to change that. For each shirt we sell, one book is donated to a community in need through our partner Books For Africa.
Am I the only lit dweeb? Surely not! What was/is your favorite classic lit novel?
I received that shirt from Out of Print clothing for my review and I love it! That’s 100% my opinion, what is yours?

Those are very cool! And look great also!

I love finding clothing that is different and reflects my taste! It’s so much better than paying lots of $$ for a shirt with a two letter logo on it.

Would you believe that I’ve never read a single one of her novels? But Nancy Drew? I read that entire series!
Annie @ Mama Dweeb says
Oh dear, you are missing OUT! Seriously, just go to your library and pick out any book by a Bronte. You will fall in love. Or not, I’m kinda dweebish in the lit dept hahahaha
Crystal @ Simply Being Mommy says
Love it.
That’s a great pic of you two!
Kristen @ MamaBytes says
That is so cool! (Whether it’s actually “cool” or not!) I’m going to have to check them out-I’m an old book lover as well!

Why, yes, I’m a lit dweeb! I took a grad level class on Mark Twain from Hamlin Hill at Texas A&M.
Annie @ Mama Dweeb says
Did you really? I bet that class was amazing! His books fascinate me. There is so much racial strife and coming of age….I love it.
Mary Beth Elderton says
It WAS an amazing class. One of my majors was English.

Great pic of you two! And yes by golly I am a dweeb too, I read anything and everything (almost) I do draw the line at Harlequin romances although I admit to reading a couple out of sheer boredom and no other books around when visiting an Aunt.
My fav classic is likely Dante’s Inferno. I had to read it in college years ago and actually have reread it several times.
