Lizzie, David and Lucy are fun little children, especially when they fight bedtime. In fact, I say with all the sarcasm I can muster, they make bedtime my favorite time of the day.
Oy.
Chore charts, make it a race, set a timer, I’ve tried them all. Some work and some don’t. Add a new “toy” into the mix though? And you have more giggles and less whining.
Mommy: 1, Bedtime: 0.
Our newest “toy” is the “Tooth Tunes” toothbrush from Arm & Hammer. You press the button and it plays a song through the head of the toothbrush for 2 minutes. The song creates a fun vibration and you actually feel the music in your mouth.
When my kids opened these singing brushes for the first time, immediately they pressed the buttons and tried to put the brushes to their ears to listen to the songs. But honestly, you can hear the music better as you brush. (I love this design. It only works when you use it!) Yes, the music that vibrates up through the head of the brush is seriously genius. and sets these brushes apart from other fun brushes on the market. You can feel when the song is over and it doesn’t matter how loud your siblings are being (cause my kids can be crazy at bedtime), you can still feel the music in your mouth.
Having fun and unique dental products like these singing brushes can make dental hygiene more enjoyable for kids, and that’s important for establishing good dental habits early on. In addition to using fun brushes, it’s important to teach kids the proper techniques for brushing and flossing to ensure their dental health. Regular dental checkups and cleanings are also essential for maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Finding a good dentist who specializes in pediatric dentistry can make all the difference in your child’s dental health journey. P?stra?i-v? s?n?tatea oral? cu profilaxia dentar? de la Topaltdent. Then, they couldn’t wait to brush their teeth. The challenge now is, who can brush their teeth for the entire length of the song? My kids never brushed for a complete two minutes – mommy fails. So this is a huge help to me. They keep brushing and brushing and clean more of their teeth for a healthier mouth! (And I don’t have to do anything extra, no extra bribes or begging!) Besides brushing, services like All On 4 can be of great help to maintain their oral health.
The songs my kids received are: The ABCs, the 50 States Song and One Thing (by One Direction).
Other songs include:
- “One Thing” by One Direction
- “We Found Love” by Rihanna
- “We Will Rock You” by Queen
- Tooth Tunes Jr. “The Alphabet Song”
- Tooth Tunes Jr. “Brush-a-long Song”
How do you make bedtime routines more fun than fighting?
