The Fisher-Price Servin’ Surprises Kitchen & Table combines two great gifts into one! It is a kitchen and converts easily into a flat table. The Kitchen portion has lights and sounds and comes with all the accessories you see here for a delightful pizza and cookies for two!
As I watched my 3 kids play with this set, I smiled. I loved watching them serve each other, say “please” and “thank you.” Lucy cooked pizza for her siblings and they all danced to the songs on the tray. As you can see in my video below, kitchen play opens up so many other educational activities. I used the pizza slices to teach early math (subtraction). This is a toy my kids have not grown bored with – there is always a new make-believe game to play when there is food to play with!
Lucy will be 2 years old in December and this kitchen is just her size. She loves taking the food and putting it in the oven and hitting the light/timer. Then, when the timer dings she gets her food out and serves it to her family. It so so cute to watch her play with David. (I made a little video with Lizzie and David playing together. It is so adorable!)
I also love how the table has height adjustment so young toddlers can play with it and so can older kids. Even with the taller adjustment, I think that 7 year olds are about as old as will play with it. Lizzie plays with it sometimes, but I notice David and Lucy playing with this table the most.
One thing about the height – it is the perfect height for all 3 of my kids to use without chairs. I can make it an art table without having to take up space with chairs. I have a smaller house and appreciate not having to purchase an additional piece of furniture for them to grow out of.
My other favorite thing about this set is the serving tray! The tray can tell what is on it and plays different songs/sound bytes depending on what is placed on top. The set comes with pizza and cookies. You can purchase additional sets for the tray too.
The tray also has a clean up song my kids love to dance (and clean up) to.
