Every Thanksgiving I try to make it a goal to fix clean, whole foods as my side dishes. I try to avoid the bagged, processed foods. But I always have to bookmark and dog-ear recipes because cooking like this does not come naturally to me. Yet. It is definitely a goal of mine, and the more I do it, the better I will be!

That sauteed vegetable medley looks delicious! This kind of cooking doesn’t come naturally to me, either, but I’m trying to learn more and eat better as well.

“Clean”?? I wash my veggies before I use them. Don’t understand the reference. I’d like the garlic broccoli
Annie says
Sarah, “clean eating” is a term I got to know last year and became a huge fan of it. Basically, you eat “whole foods” with as few ingredients as possible.
Here are a few articles to help you get to know this term better 🙂 http://www.thegraciouspantry.com/what-is-clean-eating/

This year for Thanksgiving I want to make foods that are as whole as possible and with as few chemical extras. So no bagged stuffing or creamy green bean casserole 🙂
