Children are messy. They are dangerous. And boy are they easily entertained (I mean educated) by smartphones. If we are somewhere that being quiet is essential (like ballet practice) having an educational app handy on my iPhone is a life saver.
But did I mention messy?
As much as my children love playing on my phone, you know they don’t hurt it on purpose. And those accidents that are honestly accidental – running and tripping or spilling water with the phone laying on the table – can be very expensive. That is why I say “bags of rice happen.” Cause as a mom, no matter how hard I try, my phone gets wet and in the bag of rice it goes. (Full story of when my previous phone was baptized is pretty entertaining)
That is why I am such a huge advocate for Asurion coverage. That face Lizzie is making above? Well, with Asurion protecting my phone I can just sigh, find the phone number, and begin filing a claim. No need to freak out about “how will I afford a new phone?” Nope. Asurion takes that stress off my mind! And they are fast too.
Yup, I’ve used them before. It saved me money from having to buy an entirely new phone and I wasn’t without my phone for very long at all!
And my children are not the only threat to my phone. I learned from Asurion that cell phone theft is on the rise too. Did you know that they offer an iPhone protection plan that covers spills, breaks and thefts? Yup! No worries, they are there for you!
I use my iPhone for everything. Entertaining my kids, keeping track of our calendars, emails, social media, taking awkward selfies that help me decide what to buy, oh and using it as a PHONE! So yeah, I totally can’t be without it. (How would I ever decide what to buy then? LOL)

I almost never let my kids play with my phone because I am scared of what they would do to it! Thanks for the infographic – it really puts things in perspective.

It is so true about how attached to our phones we are. We do everything with them, and I think we would be lost if we did not have them. There needs to be protection on phones so they do not get hacked!
