This post is brought to you by Sears and One to One Network. All opinions are my own.
I LOVE back to school shopping! I always did. It’s super fun, even though I have to watch my budget. With 5 kids in school to shop for, (and no lottery win yet!) I can only spend so much.
I took my sweet girls Micky and Alex to Sears recently and was able to get them backpacks, shoes and school outfits all in my budget.
Shopping with them taught me a few things about them. That’s one of my favorite things about shopping – learning new things about my girls.
I really got to know Alex a lot better. First, buying shoes opened my eyes to what a fun child-at-heart she is, even though she’s growing up. When she picked out these light up Everest tennis shoes, I was shocked! Then she giggled and as she stomped her feet she exclaimed, “I could do this all day!”
The price? So affordable! We got them for only $26.99!
Check out the Sears back to school catalog to see all their shoes!
Jeans are always a fun little challenge – only because there are so many types and not every pair in the same size fit the same. Alex is a hippie at heart, so she instantly loved the frayed bottoms of these Roebuck & Co jeans. At only $15 I got her 2 pairs!
This shirt says, “Weekend I Love You.” Alex lives in jeans and t-shirts and laughed when she saw this shirt. Every Monday this girl counts down the days until the weekend. Was this shirt made just for her? Probably!
Between shoes, jeans and shirts, the backpacks cost us the most! I don’t feel so bad about that though. They always wear out their backpacks every year, so they need one that is dependable and will last all year. I’d rather pay $36 once than $15 twice, ya know?
Sweet Micky actually asked me to let her shop alone. She’s more of an introvert and just wanted time to browse and find the perfect first day of school outfit.
Her artistic soul really shone at Sears. She picked a lovely floral Jansport backpack, ballet flats, and a dreamy horse shirt. Seriously – that shirt, does it come in my size?
I can’t get over how every item she bought was so affordable! The prices at Sears are low for the lovely clothes and high quality items you find. We found a Lands End dress for Mickey for only $15 – and the shoes were only $10!
What have you found at Sears lately that you loved?
