So far, the only thing I use my Motorola XYBoard for is watching Hulu, getting driving directions, and doing quick facebook and twitter updates. Oh, I also organize my life with the Evernote app.
But I don’t use it as a mini-computer because I find typing on the touch screen kinda tedious. That is also why I don’t blog from my iPhone. It is so much faster for me to type on my laptop.
But my laptop is so big, that I would really prefer not to take it everywhere.
So here is my conundrum: do I purchase a bluetooth keyboard for my android tablets? Will I be able to use it to blog and will the keyboard be a worthwhile investment? Or will I still not use it to blog from and prefer to blog from my laptop? I really love blogging from my laptop.
I am leaning towards buying one because my XYBoard is always connected to Verizon 4G. So I wouldn’t have to worry about whether a place has free Wi-Fi, I could always blog.
So, if I do get a keyboard – which one should I get? Is there one to stay away from?
Thank you for your help!

I sorta wish i would have gotten a keyboard for my Motorola Xoom back when i first got it. I LOVE the portability of the tablet, especially for meetings and conferences and a keyboard just elevates that functionality! I would LOVE to know what keyboard you end up with in case it is compatible with my Xoom! 🙂

Thanks Candy! I am sure that whatever I get WILL be compatible since both are android tablets. And I will let you know!

I’m just like you… I love my laptop, and dislike having to type from the screen on my tablet. So, I rarely use it. I’m thinking about getting a keyboard for mine too, so I can use it easily when I’m at the doctor, or sitting in a long line. lol No clue which to recommend though… I need to know myself.

That’s a great question. I have a keyboard for my iPad and only really use it when I’m traveling otherwise I rely on my desktop.

I’ve also been wondering if blogging with a tablet is really possible. Tell me if it works out for you or not!

I have no advice about which one to get but I say definitely do it. Especially if you are used to typing on a keyboard… Pecking around on a tablet (or swyping if it has it) are enough to make anyone insane.
