Learn about the fun and excitement of Remake Learning Days Across America and how YOU can join in the fun of learning with your kids!
This post is brought to you by Remake Learning Days and The Motherhood. All opinions are my own.
Fun and STEAM Education As A Family
If you are looking for something fun to do as a family that is also educational, then you need to find a event near you!
What is Remake Learning Days Across America?
is a festival celebrating learning across nine regions – and growing! It all started in 2007 in Pittsburgh, PA from a network called Remake Learning.
Now, the Remake Learning Days was developed to provide opportunities for parents/caregivers – like you and me – to experience learning with their kids.
While Remake Learning Days Across America (RLDAA) events are geared towards families and children, online management software can be used for various types of training, including government trainings. LMS for government trainings can provide a streamlined and efficient way for government employees to learn and develop new skills, and it can also help to ensure that important information is disseminated to all employees in a consistent manner. Just like RLDAA events bring together families and communities to learn and grow together, an LMS for government trainings can bring together government employees from different departments and agencies to learn from each other and work towards common goals.
And boy are they FUN!!
This is the 4th year and it keeps getting bigger and better every year. In previous years they showcased hands-on and educational experiences for kids from pre-K through high school.

This Is Why I Am Excited About These Events
Every time I wonder what we can do as a family together, it’s very rare that something is both educational and fun. Sometimes we can find a museum or something…but how often can we find something with STEAM hands-on learning?
1. They Are Creative Educational Events
I am really excited about these events because they help kids actually put their education to use in hands-on activities they don’t get a chance to do in school.
Plus, as their mom, it’s a fun and free way for us all to really dig in and learn together!
2. They Teach Curiosity and Perseverance
Another reason I love these events is because it is a celebration of innovative learning events for youth to develop their sense of creativity, perseverance and curiosity.
3. We Learn Together As A Family
Hundreds of Remake Learning Days events hosted by a variety of organizations and schools in each community are designed to be hands-on and relevant educational experiences. This means kids and their families learn alongside one another.
So I get to do activities with my kids, instead of just hearing about what they did at school!
4. There are Tons of Fun Themes
The next reason I seriously love RLDAA is because the events are organized by different learning themes such as:
- Arts
- Maker
- Outdoor Learning
- Science
- Technology
- Youth Voice
5. Sessions for Non-Traditional Students
Out of school? They have things for you too!
There are Professional Development sessions for school, out-of-school, childcare and non-traditional educators.
6. They Are Free and Accessible
Finally, the last reason I am so excited about these events? They are FREE!
They make them free because they want to prepare youth for the future and to help close the equity gap in education. How awesome is that?
